Pride & Prejudice Book Cover Redesign 2
Pride & Prejudice Book Cover Redesign 1

Problem: The goal was to redesign the cover of Jane Austen’s novel to reflect the emotional and psychological tension between the protagonists, moving beyond traditional romantic imagery to capture the complexity of their relationship.
Solution: I created a visual concept centered around two intersecting circles to symbolize the characters’ conflicting yet magnetic connection. Additional rings represent the layers of misunderstanding, chemistry, and personal flaws that define their dynamic. In a second version, I overlaid text on the characters’ eyes and mouths to emphasize their pride and prejudice as central barriers. Prioritizing clarity in this iteration, I used blue as the dominant color to evoke both calm and quiet tragedy, capturing the emotional weight of their journey despite the romantic resolution.
