Our B.I.A.S.

Website Design for a Body Positivity Club

Overview

During my first year at Baruch College, I co-founded Our B.I.A.S. (Bodies Inspire Acceptance & Support) and served as Head of Marketing. I led the design and development of the club’s website to reflect our mission: fostering a safe, empowering space that promotes body positivity and self-acceptance.

My Role

  • Designed and built the club’s website from the ground up

  • Aligned visual identity with the club’s inclusive, supportive message

  • Created content and layout to showcase upcoming events, club initiatives, and member stories

Design Focus

The site uses warm, welcoming visuals and a clean, approachable layout to:

  • Celebrate all body types and lived experiences

  • Invite student participation and community engagement

  • Provide resources, event info, and reflective content

Outcome

  • The website helped establish a cohesive digital presence for Our B.I.A.S., supporting recruitment, awareness, and outreach efforts on campus.
